About us

Our approach to learning

Our holistic approach to learning means that we will support you to develop socially and emotionally.

We want you to leave us as an independent, responsible, resilient and creative individual, with a strong start to your creative and performing studies or career.

Our project-based learning approach will enthuse, inspire and energise you – the knowledge that the work you do (whether on-stage or behind the scenes) will be viewed or listened to by audiences is motivation in itself.

Your University of the Arts London (UAL) Level 3 Extended Diploma will see you study both theory and practice in your chosen discipline, with plenty of opportunities to apply your performing or technical skills. Throughout your studies, you will be continually assessed, with regular feedback from tutors and homework to complete. Learning will take place through assignments, workshops and projects, supported by masterclasses and visits from industry professionals.

Our learning approach will also develop your interpersonal, critical and decision-making abilities – often without you realising it. Such development in learning and professional terms will serve you well, regardless of the path you choose on completing your studies with us.

Although studying with us does not fast-track you onto a degree at LIPA, having experienced our approach to learning will undoubtedly increase the range of opportunities available to you when you leave us.
