We visited The East London Academy for Music (ELAM) last week, which had been recently assessed as ‘outstanding’ by the people who assess schools for the government.
Our Sixth Form is a part of the LIPA Learning Group (this includes our sixth form, our primary school, our university level provision and LIPA 4-19, our weekend academy).
We called our group this, because we want and need to be always learning.
So, it was a pleasure to meet senior staff, aside from Charlie Kennard, the dynamic head, who were as interested in us as we were in them.
We all learned.
There are now plans, to be worked on, to develop a closer relationship between us.
