The LIPA Sixth Form College is a Free School for 16-18 year olds, funded by the Department for Education, and open to students from Liverpool, the Liverpool City Region and beyond.

We offer UAL (University of the Arts London) Level 3 Extended Diplomas courses in a range of creative and performing arts disciplines, leading to nationally recognised qualifications. We opened in September 2016, and in 2019, we were judged 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

Inspired by the purpose and achievements of The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, the College is one of a handful of further education providers in England to focus on the creative and performing arts.

We are currently recruiting for:

Careers & Progression Co-ordinator

• 30 hours per week (4 days per week, 8:30-4:30pm)
• Term time (39 weeks)
• NJC Pay Scale 

Actual salary £20,083.03-£21, 520.53  (Pay Award pending)

Permanent

Key job roles include

• creating a Careers programme and scheme of work
• co-ordinating UCAS applications for all students
• tracking and monitoring student destination data
• offer personal guidance support to students and prioritising 1:1 interventions with vulnerable students
• building good relationships with schools 
• contributing to the student recruitment strategy

The successful candidate must have a relevant Level 6 Careers Guidance Qualification, experience of working within an FE College, School or educational setting and experience of delivering CEIAG events & activities
