Audition guidelines for our Acting, Dance and Music Performance applicants are now available
We are now beginning to send out invitations to interview and audition for places on our BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma courses in September 2016, so if you have returned your application form, you should be hearing from us shortly.
In addition to the time and date of their interview and audition (all of which will take place in one of the buildings within LIPA's Higher Education campus in Liverpool city centre), each applicant will receive a set of guidelines detailing the practical audition task required - a monologue for Acting, a solo performance for Dance, or a solo vocal/instrumental performance for Music Perrformance - and some advice on how to prepare.
Applicants will also receive advice on the questions to be asked at interview, so that they can think in advance of their answers to ensure that they are able to present themselves in the best possible way.
A overview of the structure of the day is also provided, along with guidance as to what to bring, what to wear, and what happens in the application process once the interviews and auditions are over.
Copies of the guidelines for Acting, Dance and Music performance can be found below, and within the course pages of this website. The guidelines for Music Technology and Production Arts will be added here by the end of January.
