Amy Deane

Deputy Principal (DSL)

An experienced SENDCO, Amy passionately pursues the best outcomes for all students across college. Amy has a focus on ensuring students who have SEND and have experienced disadvantage and trauma can achieve the best possible outcomes in and onwards from their level 2 and 3 studies at LIPA Sixth Form College. Building the highest levels of psychological safety and belonging in the college community are key priorities for Amy, who will be coming to the end of her studies towards an M.Ed. Inclusive Leadership in the 2025/26 academic year. An English Language specialist, Amy is educated to masters level in her specialist subject, with an undergraduate background in modern foreign languages and study of international film. Amy’s own creative interests lie in the visual arts. Having studied Fine Art to A-level, Amy enjoys painting in her spare time. Linked to this personal interest, Amy particularly enjoys taking time to observe the work of the LSFC design students who each year diligently set the scene for the performances taking place each year.
