Bursaries

Students starting in September 2023 are able to apply for a bursary to help with the cost of their studies.

LIPA Sixth Form College is committed to ensuring that all of our students can participate in college life as fully as possible.

There are no fees to study at LIPA Sixth Form College, and we provide free school meals to those students who meet the means-tested criteria. Sometimes, there are costs attached to additional opportunities, such as travel, trips and optional enrichment activities.

Bursaries are available to support students with travel costs associated with attending college. These are available to those students who meet the specific criteria for each bursary. Bursary can be applied for once a student has received a conditional offer and may be means-tested.  The closing date for bursary applications is Friday 25th August 2023.

Students living in Wales can also apply for Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA). You will need to be between the ages of 16-18 at the time of applying and meet nationality and residency rules, as well as means-tested criteria.
